I absolutely agree! You can’t hold hands…either people want to take the steps and do the work necessary to succeed or they don’t. I learned this the hard way when I was involved with my first mlm. I even sponsored downline for others in my downline…big mistake..they just expected it from then on and figured they didn’t have to put any effort into it. Even if 99% of those you sponsor fall into the “lazy” category, it’s the 1% gems that motivate me to keep going!

Excellent post…especially the part about asking someone to join you when you haven’t gotten any results yourself yet! Been there, done that!

And great info about NMVT being a ‘sales funnel’ and I guess it could even be referred to as a ‘funded proposal’ as well?

Johnathan I agree that free leads are a waste of time, effort and money. One GDI affiliate advertises 1 million free email leads. What good are they if you cannot email them because it is illegal to spam.

The only sensible approach is what you have described. It is a slow process but as your experience grows, you will build up speed.

There are no shortcuts to success.
