The other day I was in the Circle K gas station getting a soda and they were out of 44oz cups and I learned a valuable lesson on creating success in Network Marketing.

You see I was sitting in line at the fountain and there were 3 people in front of me complaining that they were out of 44oz cups, but they were doing absolutely nothing about it. At this point I walked over and asked one of the workers to bring out some cups and guess what? She did!!!

So here is the lesson that I took home from this soda incident…

I constantly hear people complaining about not having success in their businesses in Network Marketing and when I question them about why  not they start blaming their company or upline for not telling them how. Here is my question, did they ask for help and take action on what they were told to do?

It is the nature of people to start slinging mud or complaining when they haven’t taken the initiative to ask for help.

Early in my business I learned that if I didn’t go out and ask questions about areas I needed help in I probably wouldn’t get the answer. I also learned that unless you are willing to follow directions and even make some uncomfortable actions you will not continue to get help.

I know that for me, sometimes my pride get’s in the way of asking questions and I have to get my pride in check and ask for help! None of us knows everything and that is where it becomes important to surround ourselves with others that we can ask questions and also offer help to.

So my suggestion is that you never know until you ask. It is amazing at how often leaders or producers in this industry will help if you ask.

Ask for help and keep on looking until you find the answers. I would caution thought that when help is offered we must put it into action before we go back asking for more.
