Some Things Will Never Change In Network Marketing

I was sitting here thinking a little while ago about why some achieve success in Network Marketing while others seem to struggle and their are tons of reasons, but I would like to discuss one that is prevalent right now that will keep people from success in this business.

I will preface this with the knowledge that the internet has made Network Marketing better than ever. We can now take our opportunities places that we couldn’t have before, but I feel that too many networkers use the internet as a crutch and neglect the personal contact aspect that builds solid, long-term, residual income and business.

Autoresponders are great and emails are amazing. We can now put our prospects on a webinar or send them to a website that will remove our need for presenting the our opportunities from the equation, bur we cannot forget that picking up the phone and making personal contact is a must if we are to have any type of massive success and residual income.

You will increase your sign ups like crazy if you pick up the phone, show some leadership, and then put them on a presentation with a scheduled follow up appointment already set.

So there are two crucial phone calls you must make to every lead with a number and without these you will never get as far as you could. The first is the initial call before they ever go to a presentation or are pitched your business. The second is the follow up call after they go to your presentation! I would also add a third for those that are interested but have some questions and that would be a 3-way call with someone in your upline that is having great results.

The 3-way will demonstrate that there is support for them and they don’t have to go it alone. It also shows that there are other real people having real results in your company. If you don’t do 3-way calls with prospects that are interested, but have some good questions you need to start!

So if you are doing these calls already I congratulate you and know that if you continue you will have the results you came for.

Are You Stuck In Your Network Marketing Business?

Last weekend I went out driving some back roads looking for wildlife and enjoying the beauties of nature and I had an experience that brought on this thought.

I had driven through a good sized stream at least four times and about 1/4 of a mile before I reached the main road I had to drive through what looked to me to be a little puddle. I had no worries about crossing this little puddle, but right before I reached the other side I sunk to my axles and was hopelessly stuck!

I tried and tried to get out but no matter what I did I just got stuck worse.

I know that I could have gotten out if I had spent all day building up the road in front of me and jacking up my car and putting a solid foundation under my tires, but that would be my last option possible!

I took the easy way out and this is where the rubber hits the road in this story and where you personally benefit.

You see I had my cell phone and dialed my brother and he was able to come and pull me out. It took very little effort to get me unstuck with help from him, but would have take hours on my own.

The moral of my story is that if you are stuck in your Network Marketing Business I want to do you a favor and help pull you out.

Sometimes all it takes is a little pull in the right direction to get you out of a huge rut in your Network Marketing Business and I am ready to give you that pull.

How Bad Do I Want It?

Are you in a home based business or looking into a way to make money from home?

I would suggest you ask yourself this question, “How bad do I want it?”

What is your why?

Can you visualize and tell someone what you want because it is a burning desire?

If it is just because you would like to make some extra money I would suggest that you need to rethink your why.

Without a clear focus and a powerful why you will not make it through the trials and learning curve that come in owning a business.

You need a burning desire that you would give you right arm to achieve.

So now is the time to stop and think, ask yourself how bad you want success and why you want to succeed.

Running your own business comes with a lot of reward to those that do it right, but you are also always tested to see if you are willing to do what you need to do to get there.

Let me tell you one right now that all the 7 figure Network Marketers do…it is picking up the phone and prospecting their leads. You have to be willing to make phone contact to be a great success in this industry! For some the fear of calling people stops them from being successful.

If you have your why in place and want it bad enough you will take the actions that others won’t.

I know that when I started in Network Marketing I was terrible on the phone and scared to death to make calls, but I did and as a result I got better and made sells…heck, I’m still in the business because I wanted it bad enough to work through those fears and make it happen.

I will also tell you that the only thing that will prevent you from success is you!

There are a lot of factors such as bad trainers and lack of skills and those are a huge factor in success, but those who are clear on how bad they want to make it work and have a powerful why will find a way.

If you are not getting the training and help you need go out and find it! Get your answers, get training, and put it into action.

Most of the best Network Marketers I know had miserable failures before they succeeded, I mean years of struggle and discouragement, but they pushed through it, learned, and made it happen. They had a clear focus and a powerful why! They wanted it bad enough!

I am going to make this easy for you. If you don’t have a powerful why then don’t get started.
